यस्मात परतंर नास्ति नेति नेतित वै श्रुतिः।
मनसा वचसा चैव सत्यमाराधायेत गुरुम।।
"There is nothing Higher than the Guru. One should sincerely
worship the Guru with a pure mind and words soaked in Truth"

शुक्लाम्बरधारं विष्णुं शशिवर्णं चतुर्भृजम् ।
प्रसन्नवदनं ध्यायेत् सर्वविधनोपशान्तये।।
Suklambaradharam Visnum Sasivarnam Chaturbhujam
Prasannavadanam dhyayet Sarvavighnopasantaye.
[ May one meditate upon Lord Vighnesvara, who wears the white garment, who is all pervasive, who has a bright complexion (like the full moon), who has four hands (representing all powers), who has an eversmiling face, for the removal of all obstacles.]
नमस्ते अस्तु भगवन विश्र्वेश्र्वराय
त्रयम्बकाय त्रिपुरान्तकाय
त्रिकालाग्निकालाय कालाग्निरूद्राय
निलकण्ठाय मृत्युज्ञयाय
सर्वश्र्वराय सदाशिवाय श्रीमन्महादेवाय नमः।।
Namaste astu bhagavan Visvesvaraya mahadevaya tryambakaya
tripurantakaya trikalagnikalaya Kalagnirudraya
neelkanthaya mrtyunjayaya Sarvesvaraya
sadasivaya srimanmahadeevyaya namah.
[ Salution to you, O Lord, the master of the universe, the great Lord, the three-eyed one, the destroyer of Tripura, the extinguisher of the Trikala-fire and the fire of death, the blue-necked one, the victor over death, the Lord of all, the ever-auspiciousness one, the glorious Lord of all deities. ]
ऊँ सह नाववतु। सह नौ भुनुक्तु।
सह वीर्यं करवावहै । तेजिस्वनावधीमस्तु।
मा विद्विषावहै।। ऊँ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः।।
Om Saha Navavatu Saha Nau Bhunaktu
Sa Ha Viryam Karvavahi Tejasvinava Dhitamastu
Ma Vidvisevahai Om Shantih, Shantih, Shantih.
[ May the Lord indeed protect both of us (Guru/Sadhak or teacher/student). May He indeed, nourish both of us. May we together acquire the capacity to study and understand the scriptures. May our study be brilliant.
May we not disagree with each other.

ऊँ शन्नो मित्रः शं वरूणः। शन्नो भवत्वर्यमा।
शन्न इन्द्रो बृहस्पतिः शन्नो वष्णुरूरुरूक्रमाः।

त्वमेव प्रत्यक्षं ब्रह्म वदिष्यामि। ऋतं वदिष्यामि।

Sanno indro brhaspatih sanno vishnururukramah
Namo brahmane nameste vayo tvameve pratyaksam brahmasi
tvameva pratyaksam brahma vadisyami ritam vadisyami
Satyam vadisyami tanmamavatu tadvaktaramavtu
avatu mam avatu vaktaram Om shantih, shantih, shantih.
[ May the sun deity give us auspiciousness
May the Occen deity gives us auspiciousness
May the lord of means give us auspiciousness
May the ruler of devtas and the preceptor of devtas give us auspiciousness
May the all pervasive sustainer of creation Lord Vamana give us auspiciousness.]
Salutations to the creator. Salutations to you, O deity of wind! You indeed are the perceptible truth. I understand you to be the perceptible truth. I decldre you to the right understanding. I understand you to the truthfulness in speed. May the truth protect me. May the truth protect the teacher. Om, Peace, Peace, Peace.]
