Respected Biradari Members

Namaskar

As we are celebrating Amrit Mahotsav throughout the country and we are hosting G20 Summit in India, we feel really proud that during the same time around, we have got a New Parliament building also.

The parliament house is a seat of the Parliament of India. It houses the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha which are upper and lower houses respectively in India's bicameral parliament.

A New Parliament building came up as a Central Vista Redevelopment Project. It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 28 May 2023.

Proposal for a new parliament building to replace the existing parliament complex was moved by the then Speaker of Lok Sabha in 2012. As the original building is 93-year-old and has suffered from inadequate space for house members and their staff, and the design of building was not earthquake risk proof, the building could be retained only as a heritage piece. Somehow the then Congress Government could not work out a new Parliament Building and failed to lay even its foundation, the project was shelved by the then government.

Therefore, in 2019, the Narendra Modi lead BJP Government launched the central Vista Redevelopment Project, which included the construction of New Parliament building along with other projects in New Delhi.

The foundation of the building was laid on 10 December 2020 by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the ceremony included an interfaith prayer from the Religious leaders of Judaism. Baha'i faith in Zoroastrianism. Christianity, Islam, Vajrayana Buddhism, Mahayana Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism and Sanatan Dharma, who were present at the auspicious occasion. However, the project had to be cleared in a majority judgement of the Supreme Court in January 2021 with riders for environmental concerns, and work on the building started.

One can observe very easily that the building had come up in utter discomfort of Sonia Gandhi lead Congress Party The reason of their discomfort and opposition event. to this futuristic vision of India is hidden in the defeatist and dejected outlook of their own failures and incompetency to deliver on the important projects that matter for the Nation. As their entire outlook is always focused on attaining and remaining in power much to the benefit of their own progress and development in place of the progress and development of Nation

The new building is designed to have a lifespan of 150 years. It is totally earthquake resistant. Both houses of parliament have a large seating arrangement. The new complex has 888 seats in Lok Sabha and 384 seats in the Rajya Sabha. The building is built in 20866 square metres. It is fully equipped with latest technology of Audio/Visual equipment and latest Broadcasting equipment Entire parliament has latest security apparatus.

At least 19 Opposition parties boycotted the inauguration, highlighting their discontent with Narendra Modi Their boycott was however condemned and criticised by each and every nationalist Indian and all these political parties, which are mostly controlled by family and dynasty power centres, were tooth and nail opposed by Indian people It won't be out of place to mention that 25 other parties had come up in support of the government.

It was the mere frustration of being out of power or envisaging threat to their power that the 19 opposition parties had come together to boycott this historic

We Kashmiri Pandits pray that our bill of genocide is passed in this august temple of Indian People's Democracy, Equality, Fraternity, Justice and custodian of our Independence A foolproof policy about return and rehabilitation in Kashmir Valley is worked out and implemented at the earliest. Jai Hind.
