Construction of Kashmir Bhawan is pleased to inform you that the construction of Kashmir Bhawan, a landmark project undertaken by Kashmiri Samiti Delhi has made a significant progress. The primary structure work of the building has been successfully completed, marking major milestone in our journey towards establishing a cultural hub for the Kashmiri community. Currently, the focas has shifted in the intermal development phase. This includes electrical. plumbing work, flooring, installation of fixture and interior finishing KSD team are working diligently to ensure that every detail allegro with the vision and purpose of the Bhawan to serve a centre for community, gatherings, cultural preservation and support services for our community. As we are progressing towards the crucial stage, we remain committed to upholding the highest standards of construction quality and safety measures of the building which is our prime motto. We deeply appreciates the unwavering support and encouragement from our life members, well-wishers and our former legacy. Monthly Monetary Support Meeting with Divisional Commissioner, Delhi on 23rd May 2025 The monthly monetary support to the Kashmiri Pandit migrants in Delhi had been discontinued. This was in view Cabinet order issued by The Dateline of the Cables mandated the Delhi Government which family members of the had expressed its of the best themind considering thong objections to the reded by thari affected families. After persistent and strenuous efforts’ by the KSD relief team through regular engagement with Revenue authorities and intervention from politically influential leaders a resolution has been achieved and urged the authorities to adopt the same procedure that is currently followed by Jammu & Kashmir administration in Jammu In this connection on 22nd May 2025 the Divisional Commissioner, Revenue Department issued an official order addressed to all ADMs/ SDMs in Delhi directing them to release the financial support to KP migrants as per the revised guidelines. A photocopy of the revised letter is published on pages No. 9-12 for your perusal and necessary action. A lot is yet to be done in context with the order issued by the Dy. Divisional Commissioner (Revenue) HQ and we hope that we will be able to achieve the goal to streamline the monetry support to the relief holders of Delhi NCR in coming future. The president clearly announced it in the meeting Annual Kheer Bhawani Mela On the occasion of Zeshta Ashtami Kheer Bhawani Mela was held at Shalimar Garden, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad (UP) and Gurgaon on 3rd June 2025. A large number of Kashmiri Pandits from Delhi/NCR gathered at the sacred shrines of Mata Kheer Bhawani for getting the blessings of Mata Raganya. Kashmiri Samiti Delhi rejects Mehmoona Mufti's Proposal Kashmiri Samiti Delhi, under the leadership of its President Shri Sumeer Chrungeoo along with the former President LN Dhar and the KSD Team strongly reject the recent proposal by former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti submitted to the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, regarding the so- called "dignified return and rehabilitation" of Kashmiri Pandits.
