Holocaust Day
19th January, 1990, reminds us of the ethnic cleansing and the mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the valley and also how KPs were selected out and killed in the most cold blooded manner. The years 1989-90 saw the beginning of ethnic cleansing and genocide of Kashmin Pandits. The valley was gripped with the militancy moments and the main objective of this moment was to create a valley homogenous in its religious character. To create such homogeneity the Kashmin Pandit minority was forced to leave the valley. It was also the beginning of atrocities that Kashmir Pandits suffered at the hands of jehadis. The targeting of Kashmiri Pandits by militants began in 1989 and continued till they left the valley
This year, too, on 19th January 2020, KSD, along with other organisations, will hold a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar, in New Delhi, from 2.30 to 5 pm. All baradari members are requested to join us on that day to show our strength and demand for justice
