Kashmir Bhawan Calling

On behalf of Kashmiri Samiti Delhi, I extend my heartfelt greetings to my sisters on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan (Shravan Purnima), followed by our 79th Independence Day. Raksha Bandhan symbolizes the bond of love, care, and protection between brothers and sisters. Independence Day marks the historic moment on 15th August 1947 when India gained freedom from colonial rule, reminding us of the sacrifices made for our liberty and the responsibility to uphold our nation's unity and progress

 Education

It is a matter of great satisfaction for the community that our migrant wards who have qualified the 12th standard are now seeking admission in educational and professional institutes across the country for higher studies, after obtaining migration certificates from the respective SDMs. We are confident that our wards will gain admission to institutions of their choice and will excel in their academic journey. There is no doubt that our younger generation holds the promise of a brighter future for the entire community. May God bless them with good health, wisdom, and success.

Relief

Kashmiri Samiti Delhi convened a meeting of relief holders of Delhi on 11th July 2025 to discuss vital points related to our community brothers who are drawing AMRs from Delhi. It was also discussed that a delegation met the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi on 14th July 2025. Members attending the meeting shared valuable suggestions and highlighted the financial challenges being faced due to the nonrelease of AMR since July 2024 by the Revenue Authorities.

Meeting with the Chief Minister of Delhi

Shri Sumeer Chrungoo (President) along with Shri Sanjay Koul (Vice President) participated in the meeting with the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi on 14th July 2025. The meeting was fruitful, and the Hon'ble CM assured us of her support in resolving issues pertaining to AMR holders in Delhi NCR. Other members present in the meeting were S/Shri Sanjay Ganjoo, Ashwani Chrungoo, Ravinder Pandita, Ashish Zutshi, Smt. Monika Pandita, and Prof. R. K. Bamzai. Meeting with Printer and Publisher

A meeting was held with a representative of M/s B.B. Graphic Printer and Publisher of Koshur Samachar in the KSD office on 18thJuly 2025 to discuss shortcomings in printing quality-particularly regarding paper and photographs-which did not meet expected standards. The representative acknowledged the issues and assured us that the magazine would be improved in presentation, with all deficiencies addressed in future editions. The construction work of Kashmir Bhawan is progressing steadily despite challenges posed by the rainy and cloudy weather. The laying of stones on the flooring and staircases has been carried out smoothly, with precision and close attention to quality. Materials for plumbing work have been procured, and installation is in progress. Fixation of windows by M/s Veka is also 8 underway. The KSD team is actively monitoring and coordinating the project, ensuring that progress remains steady. Regular assessments and supervision are helping maintain both the pace of work and the high standards expected for this important project
