New Radicalization In Kashmir Displaced Kashmiri Pandit s Concern

Recent terror incident in Delhi executed by the radicalized educated youth of Kashmir has brought the new trend of "white collar terrorism to light in Kashmir. Is it a Doom's Day for Kashmir now? It is a million dollar question. Ask every Kashmiri Muslim about it. Or they should ask this question to themselves. Why do not they rise and agitate against it. Well they are probably happy with the brutal killings and forced eviction of Kashmir Pandits from Kashmir in 1989-90, through the terror modules of sorts in the name of fundamentalist Islam, but what is in fate them for their own self, by extra weaponizing terror through their young educated white collar youth. A word of wisdom for them suggests that it will mean ultimately their own cultural extinction. Terror and its vicious limbs do not possess any morality and sanity. Let them look to the situations across the world, particularly in the Islamic countries. With White Collar terrorism it appeasers that some radicalized professionals and educated individuals like doctors, engineers, etc, link their professional legitimacy to radical Islam to show their extra faith and commitment to the coercive tenets of so called JEHAD and uneventful misconception of these radicalized persons about the real potential and sacred teachings of Islam, which teaches and preaches equality and co existence. Unfortunately such persons carrying such acts kill others for no fault of theirs and get killed themselves too with brutal fate and shape. But are such persons aware about it. Do they know the ultimate consequences? Should such ignoble persons conclude that why are they doing it? These brutish and insane acts of theirs make the whole saner Islamic society of Kashmir and other learned Islamic scholars across the length and breadth of whole universe 24 feel shy about it, when it is claimed by them asacts linked to so called Jehad, calling it as a teaching of Islam. What a pathos and delirium. What positive gains have been achieved by such fundamentalist's elements in Kashmir for their mission of getting " Azadi" or importing" Nizam-Mustapha" in Kashmir, or aspiring to make Kashmir a part of Pakistan, by doing so for the last about more than 35 years? Yes destruction and devastation, along with the enforcing of extreme pain, distress and despair to the Kashmir Pandits the aboriginal residents of Kashmir, by killing them for no fault of theirs and finally making them to leave Kashmir under forcible circumstances. It is unfortunate to say that by such irreligious cats of theirs, every Muslim of Kashmir today is seen with suspicion and doubt, as silent abettor of such terror acts and militant postures in the name of Islam. For them those who embrace death through such irreligious acts, presume that they would be treated as "martyrdom" in the line of religious duty. But it oversights the consequences which travel beyond such individuals and their families. Their acts pollute the thinking of others. Conversely, these acts of terror inflict lasting wounds on society. It becomes quite difficult for the larger community to shake off the tag that suicide bombers bring to them. This is an unfortunate situation, which has come to haunt Kashmir yet again after a comfortable gap of few years. A recount of the events and investigations into them point out to the fault lines. Some of those involved have been arrested and sent to judicial custody, others are under the scanner of the security agencies who are engaged in tracing all the conspirators, when most of them have perished in to hell though violent deaths while performing such acts as suicide missions. Others are either languishing in high jails or are awaiting deaths as per the law of the land. What did Bin-Laden get, yes, extreme situation of punishment of death under violent situations of punishing circumstances. Without naming any such person from Kashmir involved in such acts of brutal terror killings, some of them have already faced the gallows, some are under the probable scanner of going to gallows as per the law of the land, when most of such young persons have in the name of Jehad gone to heavens to meet beautiful women there, whiledying with brutal deaths as suicide bombers. Such insane persons should have known the end of the terrorists who did Pahalgam, killing 26 innocent people in Baisaran, on April 22. The perpetrators were neutralized in Operation Mahadev and prior to that the whole structure of terrorists and their supporters in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir was demolished in 22 minutes on the intervening night of May 6 and 7, under Operation Sindoor. The escalatory route taken by Pakistan was responded with such a response that several generations of Pakistan will remember that until they go to graves. Most of the people in Kashmirare ashamed of the ugly work done by such persons. The common man is caught in a dilemma when they cannot disown the connection of these white collar terrorists to their land and they also cannot live with the stigma that sons of their soilturned out to be terrorists. This brutal act of "whitecollar" terror module behind the Red Fort blast has exposed a disturbing evolution in extremist recruitment in India. What makes this case particularly alarming is not only the sophistication of the modus operandi but the profile of the recruits themselves as doctors, engineers, and well-educated professionals drawn into the vortex of violence through entirely digital means. The radicalization of these individuals began as early as 2019, driven by persistent online grooming by handlers based across the border. This shows, in no uncertain terms, that education alone is no shield against indoctrination; even academically accomplished individuals remain vulnerable to psychological manipulation when propaganda is sustained, targeted, and presented in the guise of ideological or as a fanatic religious appeal. The spread of this white collar terror beyond Jammu & Kashmir is equally worrying. The involvement of Muslim doctors from Punjab and a Muslim engineer from Uttar Pradesh signals that terror networks are probing vulnerabilities across the country, seeking educated recruits who can blend seamlessly into society while quietly enabling sophisticated attacks. The revelation that a 2008 Indian Mujahideen bomber was also an alumnus of Al-Falah University, Faridabad, further underscores how deeply embedded these networks may already be in academic and professional spaces across India. It needs to be stopped somewhere immediately. What is agonizingly disturbingis that elected politicians from Kashmir are hell-bent to promote such disastrous events of terror with their viral utterances, that speak of communal bent of mind, for their vote bank politics. Recently when the Vande Mataram, the National Song of India, was being felicitated in the Parliament of India, all the three Muslim MP's from Kashmir boldly stood firm on their boots, that they cannot recite it, as it is against their religious norms to do so, quoting that they cannot recite anything beyond the name of Allah, when Vande Mataram, being the National Song of India, is nothing but paying salutations and tributes to the Mother India the "Matre- Bhoomi" of this country, the India, having no link with the Hindu religion, or any other religion. No one amongst other MP's present particularly the BJP MP's had the courage and stamina to ask these Muslim MP's that where was their Allah, when Kashmiri Pandits wereselected targets in 1989- 90 of terror and militancy through Islamic fundamentalism. This is where the situation is lagging. Such fanatic aspersions by reputed fanatic minds which are in authoritarian positions in the Kashmir politics embolden the scenarios of terrorism which has now become white collar terrorism. The lacunae lie within the broader society of India, under the pseudo secularism cult of India. It can mean anything in the near future for the country as for as the internal security of the country is concerned. The present scenario in Bangladesh is the example. It has to be stopped with all the positive actions available at the command of the present administration ruling the nation. At a time when the entire nation has been reeling from the shock of the white-collar terrorism, the observations and the reactions to such acts from mainstream political leaders should be of moral clarity with an unequivocal condemnation of such acts and elements that aid and justify terror. However, instead of rising to the moment, prominent dynasty based political leaders of Kashmir appear more interested in crafting defensive narratives than standing firmly with the country in its fight against extremism. Such diluted reactions by the politicians of Kashmir, raise troubling questions about their intent and purpose behind such reactions. When the nation grieves and demands accountability, why should leaders responsible for guiding public sentiment hesitate to call out the ecosystem that enables radicalization? Their reluctance to take a clear stand, coupled with statements that seem to soften or divert attention from the gravity of the crime, only emboldens elements that thrive on ambiguity. In moments like these, leadership must be measured not by political convenience but by moral conviction. Shielding or rationalizing individuals with extremist leanings is a disservice to the country and a betrayal of the victims. The people of Kashmir deserve leaders who speak with courage, not equivocation. Prominent political leaders of Kashmir including the chief minister of Jammu &Kashmir, should lead anti-terrorism rallies throughout Jammu and Kashmir and send a clear message across the country that that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and such terror acts and modules cannot be accepted and tolerated. This is a moment for reflection for all the people of Kashmir, who will have to decide which side of the fence they wants to be seen. But will it 26 be done, probably not. Recently Dr. Faroob Abdullah travelled by Vande-Bharat train from Katra to Kashmir, highly appreciating this train facility for the overall development of Kashmir, provided by the Indian railways for Kashmir. But when any occasion of any terror act will reoccur in Kashmir he will not condemn it, but will say let us talk to Pakistan about it, as they are our neighbors. This is the double standard of these dynastic politicians of Kashmir which is fundamentally responsible for the occurrence of militancy and terror in Kashmir. A famous old quote about the general category Muslims of Kashmir, in Kashmiri Language which says:- "Paer-paerLagheHindustan's -Magar Dill Chum Pakistana's Seit" Kashmiri Pandits are not surprised much with such heinous acts of terror, which is now more radicalized and has become a white collar terror now. With the extreme influx of the of Islamic fundamentalist wave in Kashmir right from 1988, even though its deep roots were very much there in a section of the majority population, it resulted in the shaking of the foundations of the basic existence of the roots of Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir, being the aboriginal dwellers of Kashmir. KP's were driven out from Kashmir at the gun point, naked and barren, along with carrying of the deep scars of their genocide, loot, arson, rape and mass devastation with them. Since then the displaced KP's continue to live as refugees in their own country as a "Caged - Community", anticipating and expecting a fair treatment with them at the hands of the power corridors, when tall claims are being made about the same day in and day out. Nothing has matured on the ground, nor does it appear to happen. Displaced KP's lost everything under this communal fiasco of Islamic fundamentalism, which was more loaded with terrorism than any Islamic peeping of any sacred principles of even the tough Islamic teachings and preaching's, to be classified under any ism of reality or truth of a religious dogma or faith. History is privy to the fact that the role of the terrorists imported in Kashmir across the border with the aim to Islamize Kashmir fully under the umbrella of fundamentalism, almost turned the other way round, when they targeted Kashmiri Pandits first to cleanse the valley from their presence in Kashmir, so that they can have a free go to optimize the Islamic fundamentalism in Kashmir, with the proxy support from across the border. It is almost like a last nail in their coffin to get extinct from the history of Kashmir and become a mystery and a history of past. Mass genocide and exodus of the KP's occurred, which is reverberating still on the fascia and the minds of the KP's and will continue to be so as long as humanity exists in this universe. Prominent leaders, intellectuals, politicians, individuals, government officers and the like amongst the KP's were brutally killed in broad day lights in thousands, along with the mass migration of this minuscule community to their destinations of devastations. It shows an extreme apathy of the various governments who have not doing anything tangible to save the KP's from extinction. Once bitten twice shy is the famous proverb which applies to the fate of the forcibly displaced KP's, when It is now quite scaring enough for the forcibly displaced Kashmiri Pandits to foresee that they may not now be allowed to return back to Kashmir with dignity and honor by such radicalized elements of new graph and size. Unfortunately the government of India has done nothing tangible to come to their rescue in rehabilitating them back in Kashmir honourably with security and dignity. The Government of India has now to seriously ponder over the issue and ensure a separate home land within Kashmir for the displaced KP's, for their safe and secured return to Kashmir with dignity and honor. This is one of such solutions which can deter the operation of free terror in Kashmir and its off shoots which has now become white collar terror, thus creeping in the intellectual acumen of most of the Muslim community of Kashmir at large.
