दुनिया के पीछे पड्या, दौड्या जाइ ।

 दादू’ जिन पैदा किया ता साहिब कूं छिटकाय।।

मनुष्य अज्ञानवश अपने जीवनदाता को भूलकर दुनिया को प्रेम करता है। दादू दयाल कहते हैं कि अरे मन ! तू दुनिया के पीछे भाग रहा है, परंतु उसको भूल गया है, जिसने तुझे पैदा किया है। तू दुनिया को छोड़कर उस मालिक में ध्यान लगा। 

Due to ignorance, man forgets his life-giver and loves the world. Dadu Dayal says, "Oh mind! You are running after the world, but you have forgotten the one who created you. Leave the world and concentrate on the Lord."
