On tour, IAS trainees meet L-G Sinha

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday interacted with IAS Officer Trainees of the 2025 batch, who are on a five-day visit to Jammu as part of the Winter Study Tour under the Bharat Darshan Programme. The officer trainees are undergoing Phase-I training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie. During the interaction, the Lieutenant Governor shared insights on governance and public service and highlighted Jammu and Kashmir’s transformational journey across various sectors. The programme includes visits to the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine, Salal Hydroelectric Power Project, Bari Brahmana SIDCO Industrial Area, the India–Pakistan border and a city tour of Jammu. The five-day visit aims to provide first-hand exposure to the region’s administrative, developmental and cultural landscape as part of the IAS officers’ professional orientation.
