They helpeach through challenges. Learning o cooperate trains us to live a life of: Cooperation is active. By putting it into practice, we start building an attitude of unity. The habit eventually becomes a part of us.When it is naturally embedded into our system, we become a model of human unity towards others. How can we live a life of cooperation and human unity? The first step: Let's eliminate prejudice and discrimination from our hearts and minds. If we have hatred for someone we cannot hide it for long; it is bound to come out or show on our face. Our actions will speak louder than our words. Thus, living human unity begins with clearing of our hearts of any animosity towards others. Next, we live human unity tree by making sure our words express appreciation and tolerance for all people. We need to watch our words lest we injure any heart. Do our words cause division or do they bring people together? We need to become living examples of loving and caring speech. In whatever situation we find ourselves we should become the example of love, tolerance and harmony. Over time, others will emulate our example and start to speak in that manner as well. One of the most effective methods is meditation. Spending time in silent meditation helps us commune with our true self and the divine power that created us. Those moments are filled with bliss, peace and love. As we enter the inner sanctum of our hearts, we find that there is Light within us. That Light is the Light of the Creator. The realisation dawns on us that the same Light that is within us is in all other human beings. Then the outer differences that separate us startto dissolve. We no longer see a person's eycolour, hair colour or skin colour. We longer see the way people dress or speak. Instead we see one Light expressed by many different outer coverings, each beautiful in its own waJust as electricity can flow through various bulbs and lamps of many shapeand sizes andstill be the same light, so can the Light of the Creator shine in many different human forms, and even animals, birds and reptiles. We start to see all life as one. By sitting in meditationwe can increase our own understanding of unity and cooperation. We then radiathe example to others in our own spheresof life. We learn how we all are interconnected as one family of God. With a loving, cooperative heart, God blesses us not only with unity with each other but also reunites us with God.
