Jesus Is Ever Alive In Christ Consciousness

Jesus Is Ever Alive In Christ Consciousness

That fateful Friday afternoon when Jesus was crucified, he showed his greatest miracle of heist-compassion on the cross as son of God with his immortal prayer, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what hey do." Just after three days heresurected himself to demonstrate supremacy f spirit over nature and exhibited mortality of Christ-consciousness to reveal the significance of his message, Indy Father are one." Human nature of Jesus was tempura- ily tormented by the impending ordeal fexcruciatingcrucifixion. The spirit need was willing but the flesh was weak nd as son of man he prayed, "Father, if it e possible pass this cup from me." But as on of God he absolutely surrendered his north-lived self-will and as a perfect instrument of God he moved his will ith blissful subjugation, "lathy will be one". It is not a case of ordinary obedience but moving to His will as the string replies to the finger of the musician. With a passionate surrender he bore the ordeal as he was bearing the burden of his beloved Father for the sake of suffering humanity The annals of Jesus Christ starting from the divine conception of Virgin Mary and ending in glorious resurrection constitute comprehensive study of Christ consciousness at the backdrop of phenomenal consciousness apparent in ground reality. The spiritual field was already made fertile by Moses with his ethical injunctions in the Ten Commandments. Jesus cultivated the flower of unconditional divine love in the rich soil, "Love God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, with all thy strength and with allthis mind, and love thy neighbours as thyself."He further added, "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you." Jesus promoted unconditional love, not fear. Spiritual truths appeal to us to the degree of their receptivity. The concept of Heavenly Father as distant and separate from us is the hallmark of age-old us is the hallmark of age-old dualism where God as creator is in the kingdom of heaven and we must love to enter there leaving everything aside, "First ye seek the kingdom of heaven and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you."This is the first lesson from Jesus, the elementary message of human spirituality, and a recurrent refrain of worship. Once we arefirmly grounded in divine dualism, our God consciousness becomes ready to accept that, "Kingdom of God is within us... God is Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." God is spirit behind His created we find ourselves in all as our extended cosmic Self beyond the finitesAbsoluteobedience merged his self-will with divine will and his frail, physical frame became an instrument the cosmic design and felt absolute oneness with the Divine, "I and my Fat are one.” The gulf between worshipper and worshipped unified into divine oneness in resurrection. Resurrection does not mean of body alone but ascension of soul to live in oneness witSpirit. Thus, Christ pronounced absolnon-dualism as the culmination of spiritual realisation of oneness with Complete self-consecration resurrected Jesus into oneness with the Divine. The phenomenal consciousness of cosdelusion got entirely dissolved into transcendental consciousness and agadescends into cosmic consciousness as the saviour of suffering humanity
