Nothingness Is The State Of No-Action

Nothingness Is The State Of No-Action

Meditating on what is unimagi- enable is considered to be the ultimate sadhana. It is supposed o be beyond any conceptualisation. If we imagine light, that is also a kind of orm. If the mind keeps thinking about he term unthinkable to focus on, that is also limited in sphere. So it is a challenge which one has to overcome, and the secret is that it can be attained by not pursuing anything with an intention to Our sue, by becoming absolutely blank. That's the state of godhood-the state of no-action in every sense-that supplies the energy for all action. For example, the universe is said to have emerged from a point. That's easy for us co understand. We draw the example of seed and the huge tree coming out of it gradually. Otherwise, in true sense it is not even point, it is mahasunya, nothingness Why do we need sadhana of the unthinkable? We need the strength to pursue the most fruitful action. Ramakrishna talks about three thieves representing three gunas: rajas, tames and sattva. They are called thieves because all three distract us from the state of no-action. But the difference is that when rajas can make you exhausted and tames can completely destroy you, sattva is a thief which has lot of compassion. He guides you to the road that takes you safely home, the state of no-action. Kabir Das called this Sahaja Yoga. If we can become completely blank even for a moment, that is the real state of God-realisation. In deep sleep, we may attain this stage. But from a spiritual point of view, this state has to be experienced when we are awake. It is very difficult to become compel tely thoughtless. After remaining blank for a while one may feel sleepy but even then it is worth practising. The effort to make ourselves thoughtless is also an action. So that action also has to be discarded. To imagine a point and then to focus on it is also an action. But as a beginner, we may take some form or light and remain blank which may ultimately lead to the state of nothingness and thoughtlessness. A sage suggested, you may think of God's feet to begin with but do not try to perform anything on the feet. Just remain stable. A state will come when the feet will disappear: what would remain is nothingness. That is why Ramakrishna explains with lucidity that guru merges with 'Este' or Being, and ultimately there remains nothing. So the guru may jokingly ask you to offer the guru dakshina first and then he would rishis teachings. Otherwise at a later sheer would remain no guru. As one attains this state of nothness spontaneously, permanent prevails. And one draws energy froth at state of no-action to pursue enormous action for human welfarThis state cannot be described in w That is why it is said that Brahnunspeakable. Even one who realise cannot utter a word about it. Buddhsimply smiled and said nothing as was asked to comment on nirvana. For individuals to experience it. Who follow the path of sadhana ranchman welfare are able to perform selflessly. Nishkama karma decomposable only for a yogi at heart.
