Light The Flame Of Love In Your Heart
Livine love existed even before the world came into existence. It is present today, and it will be even after the world perishes. It basis of entire existence. In this xt, there is a clause in the New men that exquisitely explains ason this world came into being. lid this world come into existenhen God was overwhelmed with n love, his love overflowed and he the basis for the world's exce. And when his love grew boss, he felt the desire to be known, nderstood, to be sought. That is e created human beings, and he existence of human beings is neatest evidence of God's love. sanother matter that today the word love has come to be aligned almost everything and more than not used quite meaning A Sufi poet has said that the heart that is attracted to and falls in love withjust about anyone, has not really learnt to bea lover in the real sense. If at all you want to be a lover, you must burn in the flame that is in your own heart. Light the flame in your heart, be a lover like the moth, whose attraction for the flame drives him mad and despite knowing the consequences it gets closer and closer to be destroyed eventually. Has anyone ever seen such a love where the lover is seen but the beloved is not seen anywhere? The fact is that one who is invisible is 'the reality ‘and what we are actually seeing-the visible selfis a fallacy. Were you there a hundred years ago? No! You will again be non-existent in about ten, twenty or thirty years. Whatever is visible today, will come to naught. All that will be left of the body will be ash. Though you are visible right now, this visibility is a fallacy. You are visible but mortal. Almighty is invisible yet true. And the path of love is amongst various paths on the journey to Truth, exemplified by the lives of mystics like Merbau, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and more. The Sufi Baha-ud-Din was once asked, "How did you achieve God?" He said, "By illumining the heart and not by darkening it. Learning the scriptures by rote only leads to a darkening of the heart; I did not darken my heart. On the path of Truth, I stayed away from words and I illumined my heart.""Illumined with what?" He answered, "With love." Similarly, Shams-e-Tabreez is said t have taught Rumi to love God with his heart and not with his mind. Thus he said to Rumi, "Leave everything; enough of verse and dogma. Now let your heart be kindled with the fire of love! Now illumine your heart withtheglow of love's fire." You too burn in the fire of divine love. But know that this fire cannot be sourcedfrom outside. You have to kindle it within and 'you' yourself have to burn in this fire-nobody else can do it for you. Just as a small spark burns down a whole house and even the goods inside, similarly a small spark of divine love is enough to annihilate your mind of all its desires, jealousy and lust. No one knows how and to whom it happens, but whenever and wherever it does there cannot be a bigger blessing than this!
